I Received My New CLUB Mastercard. What Do I Need to Do?

1. Activate your new card by calling 1-800-300-5984. If you've already set up online access with Capital One, you can activate your card online.

2. Set up online access if you haven't already. If you've gone through Capital One's setup process to create or link your accounts, you don't need to do it again.

3. Update any recurring payments with your new card number. Look at your last statement for recurring charges like gym memberships or utilities, and contact those companies via phone or online to update your payment info.

4. Destroy your old card and start using your new one.

I haven't Received My New Card Yet. Where Is It?

Don't worry. You'll receive your new CLUB Mastercard by January at the latest. You can set up online access now with your current CLUB Visa. If we have your email address on file, we'll send you an email when your new card is on its way.

Be sure to activate your new card as soon as it arrives. Your Visa will continue working for a limited time after you receive your new card, but we don't want you to be caught by surprise. We'll notify you by mail and email before your Visa is deactivated. Sign in to confirm your email address.

How to Set Up Online Access

Please note: You will not be able to sign in with your current Cabela's CLUB username and password. Set up your new account now.

1. Click "Set Up Online Access" to go to the Capital One website and complete the process. It should take ten minutes or less.

2. Provide your personal info so we can verify it’s you. You’ll need the primary account holder’s last name, birthdate, and SSN. Setting up online access will not affect your credit, and your CLUB Mastercard will not appear as a new account on your credit report.

3. Confirm your account. You may be asked to confirm via text message or the 3-digit code on the back of your card, so have your mobile phone and card on hand in case you need them.

4. Create a new username and password. Or, if you’re already a Capital One customer, enter your existing Capital One username and password.

5. Set up your preferences like alerts, bank accounts, and paperless. Your last 12 months of statements will be transferred to your new online account, along with Automatic Payments you’ve set up through Cabela’s CLUB to pay your CLUB balance. It may take up to 30 days for all 12 months of statements to be transferred.

Here's What's New

New Card: Your existing Cabela's CLUB card will be replaced with a new Cabela's CLUB Mastercard® between now and January. If we have your email address on file, we'll email you when it's on the way. Until then, keep using your current card like normal.

Card Features: Your card will be accepted by over 44 million merchants worldwide. You’ll also have new access to Mastercard benefits like Price Protection, Extended Warranty coverage, ID Theft Protection, and access to Priceless® programs. In addition, you will continue to earn your card level points and keep your lower APR on Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s purchases.

Service Interruptions

You may experience service interruptions as we transition to new Capital One systems. Here’s what you need to know:

Automatic Payments: If you set up automatic payments through Cabela’s CLUB to pay your CLUB balance, your payments and AutoPay settings have transferred. If you have payments set up through another banking website or checking account, you will need to update the payment address and/or account number on those payments.

Apple Pay®: If you use Apple Pay, you will need to update or reset your Apple Pay information now, and again when you receive your new card.
